GROW WITH GOOGLE @ ALEXANDRIA LIBRARY

The Alexandria Library is a partner with Grow with Google, which makes tools and digital skills training easily accessible online for free. As a partner we also receive resources to teach digital skills to our community at the library.

 

ONLINE LEARNING

Learn practical digital skills with Grow With Google's project-based online video curriculum. You can work at your own pace and there is no charge for any of the programs. Classes are suitable for teens and adults.

Learn about technology and ethics, how to create and safeguard passwords, evaluate the credibility of online sources, how to use online tools to collaborate on projects and manage everyday tasks, plan a budget and track expenses, organize Google photos, make a family newsletter, create a scrapbook and promotional flyer as well as how to organize an address book.

Use Google Docs to build a resume, convert your military work experience to civilian life, build a portfolio with Google Sites, use Google to get a new job, how to ask for references, negotiate your salary and improve effective communications at work.
