Explore art history with a story time followed by a process focused art project. All supplies provided. Ages 3-6.
Art Explorers is a themed story time followed by hands on art activities that allow children to explore the techniques of famous artists. Each session will focus on one artist or movement - the stories read will provide context to the projects and introduce children to art history concepts. The project that follows will be in the style of a great artist and cover everything from collage to painting to sensory activities. The focus is allowing children 3-6 to explore their creativity through art. Art appreciation is the inspiration but it's the process, not the product, that matters in Art Explorers!
All supplies provided. Ages 3-6. Registration is now closed.
