An interactive class that will help you understand the basic tax forms, what documents you need to prepare your tax return, and tips to reduce your tax bill.

An interactive class that will help you understand the basic tax forms, what documents you need to prepare your tax return, and tips to reduce your tax bill. This is an educational program; personal tax situations will not be discussed. Topics covered are: introduction to the 1040 forms; explanation of important terms; how to identify a tax scam; and discussion of tax planning. Offered by a Master Financial volunteer from the Virginia Cooperative Extension. Please register at kmaier@alex.libraryva.org.
